Bauer Builders has evolved through the years into one of the ten largest general contractors in Dane County, with staff of nearly 70 full time employees, including some of the finest craftsmen and carpenters in the area.

The Company moved from primarily residential to commercial ventures in 1980, diversifying extensively in the ensuing years.

In addition to providing General Contracting services encompassing negotiated design/build and plan/spec work, Bauer Construction has an excavating division, it's own concrete operation and a specialty cabinet and millwork shop on site.

We at Bauer Builders are dedicated to delivering the highest quality services for both renovation and new construction. Temple Beth El Temple Beth El Madison, WI Temple Beth El was an extensive design/build project that added the elements of warmth, light and spaciousness to this synagogue.	Collaboration is Key Collaboration is key throughout the entire process. We are available to meet in person or virtually.	Private Residence Lake Wisconsin Residence This Private Residence located on Lake Wisconsin, was 15,000 square feet finished. Whether it's working with the finest species of wood, the highest quality granite or imported marble, no mater how intricate the detail, you can count on the craftsmanship being second to none.
Southwest Wisconsin Technical College Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, Fennimore WI SW Tech was part of a multi-building campus expansion and renovation. Four new buildings were added to the college grounds and six existing campus facilities were remodeled. Our work comprised of approximately 300,000 square feet of carpentry.	Monona State Bank Monona State Bank Monona, WI The Monona State Bank on Bridge Road in Monona, WI. This financial office features 30,000 square feet, Class A finishes, and three stories	Sleep Inn Hotel & Suites Sleep Inn Hotel & Suites and Main Stay Madison, WI Sleep Inn Hotel & Suites in Madison, WI was a 90-unit, three story hotel that was completed in 10 month. In 2016 we added a 47,000 square foot Main Stay addition.

Poynette Municipal Building Poynette Municipal Building Poynette, WI This building earned Bauer Construction an exclusive national award from the American Public Works Association. It was cited as best in category for historical restoration/preservation, winning over submissions from the entire 50 states.	Home Health United Home Health United Madison, WI Home Health United was a 50,000 square foot retail/healthcare facility transformed from a grocery store. We added a second story, installed an elevator, constructed new interior offices and display areas, and completely revised the exterior facade all while maintaining occupancy for the tenant during construction as well as access for the public.
Orchard Ridge United Church of Christ Orchard Ridge United Church of Christ Madison, WI Orchard Ridge United Church of Christ as a Renovation of the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. The entire project included demolition and renovation of approximately 80% of the interior space.	Edge Consulting Engineers Edge Consulting Engineers Sauk City, WI Edge Consulting Engineers in downtown Sauk City, WI was a project with special challenges. This project entailed demolition of an existing suburban office building and replacing it with a new three-story structure. The special challenges included pedestrian safety, traffic control, and carefully managing the integrity of the inter-connected adjacent office buildings.	Safety Program Bauer Construction has developed a comprehensive Safety Program. This Safety Program addresses company procedures for job sites, safety meetings, first-aid treatment and reporting procedures. We also incorporate strict client safety and security regulations into each project safety plan.
Badgerland Financial Corporate Office Badgerland Financial Prairie du Sac, WI Badgerland Financial Corporate Office was a 27,000 square foot, two story building located in Prairie du Sac, WI	Landmark Corporate Office Landmark Corporate Office Cottage Grove, WI Bauer Construction has completed numerous office spaces for a wide variety of clientele, including corporations, government and small businesses. Our capabilities span new construction, remodeling, retrofitting, white box finish, and tenant build outs.	State Bar of Wisconsin State Bar of Wisconsin Madison, WI State Bar of Wisconsin is just one of many public sector projects we have completed. The elegant sweeping staircase provides a majestic backdrop to this state-of-the-art building. We are routinely engaged in bid/spec construction for the State of Wisconsin, local governments, or a Federal entity. Wyllow Pet Hospital Wyllow Pet Hospital Beaver Dam, WI Bauer Construction has assisted local and regional clinics with modernizing their businesses and bringing them in line with pet owners' expectations and needs. Our construction team has built new veterinary clinic facilities and completely renovated and expanded others. We work side by side with owners and architects to explore creative and efficient alternatives, carefully considering the cost/benefit of each relevant scenario.	Goodman Campus Aquatic Center & Pool House Goodman Campus Aquatic Center & Pool House Verona, WI The AIA award-winning Goodman Campus Aquatic Center and Pool House sits on 154 acres. This campus also offers an activity center, art building, and social hall. We can offer insight into materials and technology which will affect the comfort, safety, efficiency, and longevity of your facility, especially with respect to the key elements of moisture, humidity and temperature control.	Crawfords Landing Crawfords Landing Monona, WI Retail construction has long comprised a segment of our project portfolio. In addition to local retail construction, we have traveled nationally and regionally as general contractors for major mall stores, small specialty shops, and big box retailers. BENEFITS It improves communication, making it easier for the client to visualize the final design It's more accurate than sketches or models and can be altered easily to achieve your vision It quickly and effectively can show clients what different options would look like	Ho-Chunk Madison Branch Office Ho-Chunk Madison Branch Office Madison, WI This new facility for Ho-Chunk is 17,000 square feet and features a large activity room and community room, three classrooms, a full commercial kitchen, an exercise room, conference rooms and private offices.	Datastore Datastore Sun Prairie, WI Datastore is an 87,000 square foot warehouse facility featuring 34-foot walls, a specialized racking system and solar tubes. Construction for this project took just over 8 months. Other industrial projects have included beverage distributor warehouses and storage facilities for large national grocery distributors with specialty refrigeration needs.
Joseph Stoner House Joseph Stoner House Wisconsin Society of Architects Madison, WI Circa 1850's the Joseph Stoner House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This 100+ year-old building was painstakingly relocated several feet at a time to a distance of 200 feet from it's original location. The house had been abandoned for over 10 years at the inception of the our project. We completely renovated the interior and exterior to be compatible with it's original design and style.	American Family Insurance American Family Insurance Madison, WI Bauer Construction has completed numerous office spaces for a wide variety of clientele, including corporations, government, small business and the one-person-office entrepreneurial concern.	Lions Eye Bank Lions Eye Bank Madison, WI Located in Tradewinds Parkway in Madison, WI Lions Eye Bank is a new 14,000 square foot medical facility. Bauer Construction displays versatility and cumulative experience in medical care and medically-related facilities. We exercise special care in these actively operating environments, marrying access for the general public with safety for all, blending time commitments with quality workmanship, and striving for minimal disruption to staff and patients.
Chabad House Chabad House Madison, WI This Residence was originally built in the early 1900's. The house was purchased in 2005 and would become the hub to direct the Chabad activities on the UW Campus. In 2008 the house was completely remodeled and then again in 2018 with an addition on the adjoining lot. The project in 2018 was just over an 8,000 square feet addition and was completed in 8 months.	Hawks Quindel Law Office Hawks Quindel Law Office This project scope encompassed almost 12,000 square feet- with an addition to the building footprint on the back of the existing building and the addition of a third floor.
